What happens if the fault with my boiler is determined to be a pre-existing issue?

During a repair our engineer might identify that the breakdown is related to a pre-existing issue from before you took out your policy. If this happens, we will advise you to source your own private engineer for the repair. Please note that we will not be able to cover the costs of this repair under your policy.

It is important to understand that our cover packages are designed to provide coverage for unexpected breakdowns and faults that occur after the start of the policy. Pre-existing issues typically fall outside the scope of our coverage. However, our engineers will still be available to offer advice and guidance regarding the best course of action for resolving the pre-existing fault.
